Rassias Method Language Program

As seen on PBS and the Sunday edition of "Good Morning America," the Rassias Method is an exciting, innovative approach to teaching language. It emphasizes a creative learning environment and real-life situations - an ideal way of learning a new language, whether doing business, traveling for pleasure, or preparing for university studies. The method was developed to train Peace Corps volunteers in the 1960s and was adapted for college-level instruction in 1967 at Dartmouth College.

The Rassias Method employs dramatic techniques, rhythmic drills, and unusual teaching methods to make learning a new language an interactive experience. The Rassias Method quickly increases students' oral proficiency and at the same time highlights culture and the practical application of the target language to the students own life.

Class size is limited so early registration is recommended. Call (212)802-5603 or e-mail bbconted@newton.baruch.cuny.edu for further information and for a placement interview appointment for enrollment in classes above the beginner level.
