Weekend Intensive Language Learning (WILL) Program

What will I learn in so short a time?

Beginners (Level I)
Students in this level will be able to gain basic vocabulary. Topics covered in the course include: autobiographical data (including state of health, names, city of residence, description of family, home, etc.) giving and receiving directions, using number system in telling time and dealing with money, ordering food and drink, along with appropriate cultural signs.

Intermediate (Level II)
Students in this level will find our program an excellent reSPAsher course in which they become more comfortable using the language. A review of basic structures will be followed by an emphasis on practical communication that relates to the students' needs and experiences. Vocabulary is increased through contextual exercises.

Advanced (Level III)
Students in this level will review intermediate structures as well as learn and practice more useful advanced topics. Emphasis will be placed on idiomatic expressions and complex grammatical topics.

Cultural Understanding
Participants at all levels will become acquainted with the heritage of a different society through dramatic action-oriented techniques and aids such as video, film, acting and discussions.

Please Note: A placement interview is required for Level 2 & 3 students.
