| Introduction to Microcomputer Hardware |
| Learn why and how
microcomputers work. Students are introduced to the
various hardware and firmware components of
microcomputer, including ROMBIOS, disk drives, adapter
cards monitors, and peripherals. Hardware standards and
their precedence will be discussed. Trouble shooting as a
methodology will be introduced.
No prior computing experience required. This course may be taken individually or as part of the certificate in Microcomputer Technology. |
