| This course introduces
students to the concepts, structure, and facilities of
modern operating systems, with emphasis on the use of
system resources through a study of Job Control Language
(JCL) and utility programs. Concepts of multiprocessing,
virtual storage, input-output control, and
telecommunications are presented. Prerequisite: DPC 1000 or equivalent This course is also part of the Certificate in Computer Programming. |
