Computer Programming
The Certificate Program in Computer Programming provides up-to-date training and a firm theoretical understanding of computers and software. You will be thoroughly prepared for a career in this challenging field.
Emphasis will be placed on training for the vast number of jobs for programmers dealing with the year 2000 problem.
Program Content
Courses designed by faculty and industry representatives cover a
full range of subjects, from computer literacy to advanced
concepts. Students learn the languages and practice the skills
that businesses require. The program requires 344 hours of
classroom instruction and 344 hours of supervised laboratory
work. The curriculum consists of the following courses:
These courses can be taken individually for
$395.
Certificate students may take C++ for $400.
Schedule
The evening program meets Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 6:00 to
9:00 pm, and may be completed in fifteen months. The next evening
program begins on October 19, 1998.
Tuition
Tuition is $3,100 and includes use of the Continuing Studies
mainframe lab. Placement counseling is available.
