| Advanced Programming Techniques |
| This course introduces advanced
programming topics found in commercial IBM mainframe
environments, including VSAM structure and coding,
structured and modular programming techniques, and online
CICS concepts. The course prepares students to enter the
commercial job market with practical understanding and
hands-on experience in programming various VSAM and CICS
applications while providing a basis for further advanced
professional study. Prerequisite: COBOL II or equivalent. This course is also part of the Certificate in Computer Programming. |
