Become personal computer
literate. Learn fundamental hardware and software
concepts and terminology. Use PC DOS and several popular
business packages, such as spread-sheets, databases, and
word processing. The course covers configuring and
expanding a personal computer system and provides
information on purchasing a microcomputer. An
instructor-supervised lab provides hands-on experience
with IBM PCs. No prior computer experience required. Two 3½" double-sided, high-density diskettes required at the first class. |
