For those interested in how the internet affects individuals and for market researchers interested in social behavior, this workshop examines internet communities as popular culture. Content and disclosure are analyzed in order to understand internet culture and its effect on culture at large. The relationship between mass media, communication and culture is examined. Participants research their area of interest through discussion, writing and direct internet access.
