The two courses listed above will be taught as companion courses. During the first hour of each session, labor and management student s will be taught separately. They will then come together for the second hour to get the joint labor / management perspective.
 
Specific topics covered in both courses include:
  • Evaluating yourself as a negotiator
  • Assessing your adversary
  • Preparing for major negotiations
  • Handling third-party involvement
  • The sanctity of the contract

This course is designed for those currently involved in labor negotiations or those interested in moving into this field.
