To be
successful, managers must be able to deal with conflict.
In this course, you learn the theory and skills involved
in managing conflict and the causes of discord, common
styles for dealing with conflict and the advantages and
disadvantages of those styles; and a collaborative
approach to managing hostility. You will then work on
applying the conflict management theory by developing new
skills, including active listening and open-ended
questioning. The principles and skills you learn are also
applicable to situations outside the workplace. |
