Employment Law for the Human Resource & Management Professional
 
Anyone who works in the human resources area or manages employees should know the laws governing employment. In this course, participants will learn about the federal, state, and city laws that regulate employer and employee conduct in the workplace. We will discuss laws governing discrimination, sexual harassment, employment-at-will, compensation benefits, safety, drug testing, privacy, unions, and more. You will learn how these laws apply to human resource issues and management decisions in the workplace, and how to avoid workplace legal problems.
