This course reviews the basic concepts of investments and then continues in more detail to expand the students' understanding of risk and return in relation to investment decisions and securities and their markets. Emphasis is on various strategies used under varying market conditions; techniques that can be employed to deal with these situations; taxes; and analysis of financial statements. Real-world examples are used to construct a portfolio. |
